In celebration of the gradual reopening of New York City, Brooklyn Writers Space will be hosting an outdoor, pop-up book festival celebrating our members whose books have been published throughout the course of the pandemic. The event will take place on 5th Ave and Garfield Place during Park Slope’s Saturday Open Streets. In collaboration with Community Bookstore, authors will be signing copies of their books available for purchase. The event will also feature live music from the pandemic-formed band Unisex, raffles for prizes from Kos Kaffe, and interactive literary installations.
